MHA of MT & Inpathy – Launch Tele-Mental Health Initiative to Connect Montanans to Licensed Providers

Dear Montana Mental Health Providers:

20% of Montana adults reported they were diagnosed with a form of depression. Are they getting the care they need?

To help address this issue, we are excited to invite you to join a select group of Montana-based mental health care providers in an innovative new pilot that will increase access to mental health care across the state.

As a part of the pilot, participating providers will receive a discounted membership to Inpathy (www.inpathy.com), a telemental health platform that allow mental health providers and consumers to connect through secure, user-friendly & HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing. Additional details on the features of Inpathy are attached.

Pilot providers will also be invited to join a telemental health learning community where they can stay connected to peer providers and discuss the challenges and nuances of delivering telemental health care.

MHA Montana will help to support this program and bring consumer referrals to pilot providers’ online practices.

Future goals of the pilot include aiming to partner with major Montana payers.
